EMPTIES - April 2016

Hi all :) I hope you are all keeping well. Today I'm coming to you with a different kind of post. I have noticed that many youtubers do this so I said, why not? Today's post is about my empties, clearly speaking I'm going to show you the products that I have used over the past weeks / months and tell you if they were a hit or a miss.

Skin & Body Care
Okay, let me tell you girls, if you are looking for a good shampoo that will not make your hair greasy in a day (I'm talking to you, L'Oreal!) go to Lidl and get this shampoo.
It is by far the cheapest and best shampoo I have ever used. My hair was bleached about 2 months ago, so you can imagine that they are a little on the dry side. This shampoo simply hydrates my hair without making them greasy. This shampoo costs less than €1 and does wonders. While you're there, grab the conditioner that goes along with it and you won't need anything else for you hair. I have already bought a new bottle so it is definitely a HIT :)

I don't have much to say about this shower gel. It simply does what it's supposed to do, is super affordable and has a gorgeous smell. I got this at Lidl also and the price is also less than €1. I have bought a new bottle - this time in the Lime Kick scent. It's a HIT.

Make Up
The next three products I'm going to talk about are from Catrice. I personally really like this brand as their cosmetics are affordable and most of them work well for me. The Glamour Doll mascara is very good. It has a silicone brush, which are my favourite at moment. However, I will not buy it any time soon as I have found my holy grail mascara, which I am going to talk about later. Nonetheless it is a HIT. The RRP is €4.49.

I have mentioned this foundation in my Face Essentials post. It is a good foundation with a medium to high coverage, but unfortunately it has broke me out. For that reason only I will not buy this foundation again. It's a MISS for me :( The RRP is €8.49.

And of course, my all time favourite concealer which is sold out literally everywhere is the Catrice Liquid Camouflage concealer. I have tried few concealers since, but nothing compares. I will find you eventually... I will. It is absolutely a HIT. The RRP is €3.99.

I have mixed feelings towards the W7 Eyeliner. The wand is amazing, so sturdy and so easy to draw a wing with it, but the liquid itself... blah. The liquid gets crusty on my eyelids, and it literally just starts to crumble off. It looks terrible. If only all liquid liners had this wand. Anyway, it was a MISS for me, and I will not buy it again. The RRP is €2.00.

Ladies, let me introduce the best budget mascara on the market. Welcome the Wet'n'Wild Max Volume Mascara. The words cannot describe how great that mascara is. Longlasting - check, pigmentation - check, price tag - check. It also has a silicone brush that volumises the lashes and gives them length. This is definitely a HIT. The RRP is €5.49.

Before I learned how to use a liquid liner, I used the eyeliner pens. This eyeliner is ok if you're a beginner to the world of liners. The pigmentation is sightly lacking, but very much buildable. For me though it's a MISS, and will not buy it because of the colour pigmentation and simply because I don't use them anymore. The RRP is €3.09.
W7 Aye Aye Captain Liquid Eyeliner, Wet'nWild Max Volume Mascara, Essence Eyeliner Pen.

Lastly, my all time MISS is the PS Brow Liner in Light Brown. The reason why it's a miss is the colour. I did not swatch this brow liner before buying it, because it was all packaged and sealed up. It turned out the colour is way off for me. I want to pass it on to a person that this colour will suit, as it is new and I don't want it to go to waste. I guess it will have to wait for its new owner ;) The RRP is €1.50.

That is all from me. I hope you liked this Empties post. What are your hits and misses? Are you using any of the products I have shown here?
