Mini Makeup Haul

Hello ladies! How are you all today?
Today, I'm coming to you with my first make up haul.

I have showed you recently in my Eyebrow Routine post that I bought a wax pencil for my eyebrows. The problem I had though is that I didn't have a sharper for it... The pencil is bigger than the usual eye pencils, so it didn't fit in my existing sharper. I got my hands on this sharper from Essence. It is double sided, therefore you can sharpen both thin and thick pencils. The sharper costs €1.30.

The second thing I have bought is my all-time favourite eye brow pencil. I have been looking for it everywhere! I ran out of it for about a month and I couldn't get my hands on it. I have been using the Wet'n'Wild Color Icon Brow Pencil, but they don't compare. Thankfully, the pharmacy in my parents' home town stocks Catrice. My shade is 020 - A Date with Ash-ton. The eyebrow pencil costs €2.79.

I have heard so many good things about this product that I had to buy it. My Essence Stay All Day Concealer is slowly running out and I needed a replacement. My first choice was Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer, but of course... it was out of stock. Then I remembered so many beauty blogger and youtubers recommended Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer. I decided to buy it, fully trusting the sources ;) I chose it in the shade 010 - Ivory. The product costs €7.99, which is a little on the pricey side for me, but I hope I will not be disappointed.

As you may have already read in my Empties post, my Catrice Even Skin Tone foundation has ran out. I wanted something a little lighter on my skin - not the shade but formula wise. I decided to buy the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix Foundation in the shade Light Vanilla 51. It is the most expensive foundation I have ever bought as I paid €14.99 for it. I hope it's worth it!

As you may also know my eyeliner has also ran out. This one I got in Boots. It's the Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner in Black. It has one of those sturdy wands that are my absolute favourites. This eyeliner was €3.99.

And last but not least I have replaced my Beauty Sponge / Blender. I always get mine in Penneys. I prefer to apply makeup using a blender rather than my fingers. I noticed that the coverage is much better when foundation is applied using a beauty blender. This sponge costs €1.50.

Have any of you tried the products that I just bought? What are your opinions on them?
That's all for today. Thanks for reading :)

  1. Aaaaaay! That Bourjois foundation is great! I have the one with a roundy lid, hope the din't change the contents much.
Also have to buy a darker shade, just like you say you need to after your holidays :) It's also handy for very subtle express contouring when you go pale again. darker on the sides of the face and the lighter one around "the symmetry line" part of the face.

    1. Hi! There are actually 2 types of the Healthy Mix foundation - the one I have in the picture and Healthy Mix Serum. The serum one is supposed to be more hydrating with a sheerer coverage. I actually want to try the Serum too. Recently I bought the Bourjois City Radiance foundation in a darker shade and I have to admit that it's just as good as the Healthy Mix :)
