Face & Body Care
Recently, I have finished my Cien Exfoliating Face Wash from Lidl. Lidl has 2 face washes in their collection, the exfoliating one and a normal one. I like to use the exfoliating one around the areas where I have drier skin i.e. on the sides of my nose and on my chin. This face wash costs about €1. It does what it's supposed to do and for that reason, it's a HIT for me.
Yes, ladies I have used up my Simple Cleansing Micellar Water. You can read my review on it HERE. As I have mentioned in the review, it's a very good product and once I see that it's on promotion I am going to restock. The RRP is €5.99. This micellar water is a HIT.
Lastly in the Face & Body Care section, I have a sample that I got with my Cellulite Cream; it's the Eveline Argan & Vanilla 2-in-1 Lotion and Exfoliator. Personally, I have mixed feeling about this sample. I absolutely loved how it exfoliated my skin. It left my skin feeling so smooth and soft. However, what threw me off is the smell. I'm not a big fan of the vanilla scent. My skin was smelling of vanilla until my next wash. That's how long lasting it was. I would repurchase this product, but in a different scent - strawberry one preferably ;) The full size costs about €5. It works wonders on the skin therefore, it's a HIT for me.
Makeup
To be honest with you all, I have not used up a lot of makeup. I usually only do a full face makeup on the weekend, so the products are not used up so quickly. The first product is my holy grail compact powder. I finished my Wet'n'Wild Cover All Pressed Powder in Fair. This is by far the best powder I have ever used. It's great for setting foundation and it keeps my T-zone at bay. I buy my Wet'n'Wild products in Penneys. The RRP is €3.99. I will definitely repurchase. It's a HIT.
The last product that I have used up I actually found in my work makeup bag. I have to admit something, though... I finished this product weeks ago, so it should probably be in the April Empties. Oh well. I'm talking about the Catrice Re-Touch Light Reflecting Concealer in Ivory. I absolutely love the packaging. It's expensive looking and feels heavy in the hand. It has a pink undertone, which suits my complexion. It covers my dark circles very well and can be used as a highlighter as well. But, yes there is a but. This pen, if used regularly would run out in 2 weeks. There is so little product, that it's not worth buying. The RRP is €4.49 and for me, it's a MISS. I would not repurchase.
So that is all for today. I hope you enjoyed my second empties post.
Did you get to try out any of these products? Were they a hit or a miss?
Thank you all for reading!
