Our Weekend in Drogheda

Hello everyone! How are you all today? Back to reality... huh? I hope you all enjoy your comeback to work or school. I know I didn't post yesterday, however I was still in Bank Holiday mindset. Anyways, we went to the Dublin area for the weekend. It was a really fun weekend! I wish we could do that every Bank Holiday. Maybe we will, maybe!

On our way to Drogheda, the owner of the B&B texted me, to inform me that she's cancelling our booking. Can you imagine? We were already on the motorway in great moods, and there she was, cancelling our reservation. The lady didn't even call us, just texted. Not very professional...

Thankfully, we discovered the website airbnb.ie and booked a room in Dublin 5. Yes, you read it right, we all slept in the same room, that is 5 adults and a baby :) To be honest, it was one of the craziest yet incredible experiences.

Before going to our B&B we decided to go to the Funtasia Waterpark. You guys, I was so disappointed. This waterpark was supposed to be the biggest indoor waterpark in Ireland. Can you imagine 20 years olds going into a waterpark and finding out that it's suitable for kids aged 10? Yeah, well that was us so we left after an hour. If you are older than 15 years old or without kids, don't even go there because it's not worth it. Oh and we went to Howth. Such a beautiful location!

After checking into the B&B, we left our stuff and went for a walk. We decided to go into a bar for a little something. We continued on with the drinks in the room later that night.

The next day we went to IKEA. Of course, because where else would you go when you're in Dublin?! After getting our bits and bobs we decided to visit the Guinness Storehouse. Thanks to our little Nathan we literally skipped all the queues. The storehouse is worth visiting, but I was not WOW'ed. We had our pint of Guinness at the end in the lovely Gravity Bar. I wish though it wasn't so packed :(

So this is how we spent our weekend. Like I said earlier, I wish we could do that every bank holiday. I hope we can make it work! Thank you all for reading. How did you spend your weekend? I hope you enjoyed this post. I am not going to post tomorrow, but I will talk to you on Friday :)
